Why do our pupils Pass first time?

Why do others fail first or second time? My pupils pass first time because of my knowledge and 25 years of driving Test Pass Success as can be clearly seen on this website.

Why is it so easy for me to get you Passed?

I show them how the tester wants them to drive exactly on the day of the test.
I break it down into simple easy steps and show them how to prioritise their junctions so that the tester clearly sees they understand junction control.
I give them a demonstration drive showing them how to do the Manouvers. Many people fail because they can’t do these Manouvres.
I make sure they know the testers marking sheet inside out the contents of which can be seen below and the 18 points in which they can mark from.
I speak to them the same way the tester will speak, I show them how the tester profiles their driving and observes their attitudes and composure.
I give them an inside track as to why the tester marks the sheet and most importantly i bring them through an exact Mock Test scenario that exposes weaknesses to me so i can fix their mistakes before the test itself.
I fix their driving habits quickly and only focus on the bigger issues they have.

Without having this knowledge then it’s just throwing away hard earned money. Candidates fail because of all of the above or car problems with no valid tax or insurance or out of date NCT certificate.

    Mock Test Success

My mock test is one of the best in the business.

All of my pupils undertake a Mocktest 1 week before the actual test..

This mock test is an actual exact replica of the testing environment including the same test routes.. During the Mocktest the pupil feels the same type of pressure and shows me the mistakes they are likely to make on the real test without my instructions..

This Mocktest is one of the main reasons my pupils pass first time because there is then time to correct errors and mistakes in time before the actual test..

Don’t waste any more time or money just call now if you need to pass first time.

    RSA Practical Driving Test Structure

The Irish practical driving test will test your driving ability in 18 separate headings and each heading has individual aspects:

    Rules & Checks:

You will be asked a series of questions on the rules of the road and asked to identify and explain different road signs.

You will be tested on your ability to maintain correct road position in a series of bends and turns as well as on the straight and negotiating junctions, roundabouts and following traffic and stopping.

This heading will test your ability to look around and observe competently and effectively before moving off, overtaking, changing lane, cross junctions, roundabouts and turning left and right.

    Reaction to Hazard:

A hazard is anything that may cause you to change speed or direction. Hazards come in many forms on the road and range from stationary to moving to environmental, an example of a stationary hazard would be a parked car, a moving hazard may be a cyclist, and environmental hazard may be a large pothole on the road.

You should demonstrate correct use and appropriate timing of mirrors. Your use of these should not be to early or too late.

    Clearance/ Overtaking safely:

You should allow sufficient clearance to pedestrians and cyclists and other hazards, you must not cut back in too soon after overtaking.

You will be required to demonstrate the correct use and timing of signals and should not be misleading.

    Hand Signals:

If 3 or more hand signals are not demonstrated correctly then a grade 2 fault may be recorded.

Only applicable to motorbike candidates being tested.

Demonstrating common sense and using basic road manners during the test.

Getting out of your vehicle at the end of your test, make sure you have applied the handbrake and the ignition is switched off, and that all necessary observations are taken before opening the door.

You must make reasonable progress and avoid any unnecessary delay in moving off, on the straight, overtaking, junctions. Roundabouts, turning left and right
    and at traffic lights.

    Vehicle Controls:

You should be able to make proper use of accelerator clutch, gears, footbrake hand brake and steering. Also secondary controls i.e. driving while condensation restricts visibility or not using another secondary control when required.

You will be tested on your ability to adjust your speed accordingly for road and traffic conditions, at roundabouts, cross junctions, turning, obeying traffic controls and complying with all speed limits.

    Traffic Controls:

You must comply with traffic lights and road markings, signs, garda, school wardens, pedestrian crossings and obey bus and cycle lanes.

    Rules & Checks:

You will be asked serious of questions on the rules of the road and asked to identify and explain different road signs.

    Right of Way:

This assesses your ability to turn your vehicle safely on the road to face the opposite direction. Using accuracy, all necessary observation and yielding right of
    way where required.

This assesses the applicant’s ability to reverse the vehicle competently while taking the necessary observations and yielding right of way as required. There is second grade 3 fault box in this section and it is for a candidate who may be reversing out of there space at the start of the test this is why it is strongly advised that you reverse into your space before the test begins.

You should understand and demonstrate correct use of right of way where necessary.

Make sure you are parked in a safe position.
